And don’t forget to bring your images for our June competition “Colour Wonderful”.
It is time to register for the VAPS convention. VAPS is the Victorian Association of Photographic Societies and we are one of the affiliated clubs. Each year they run a convention, and this year it is close to home, just in Brighton. This is a great chance to meet people from other clubs and hear about what is happening, as well as listen to some great speakers. They also have some workshops/activities on Saturday afternoon which are well worth attending and Ian Rolfe is running some photo shoots/photo walks on Friday 6pm and Sunday and Monday mornings (an early start) and they have an exhibition of the inter-club competition entries including prints, digital images and audio-visuals.
There is also a dinner on the Saturday night if people are interested in getting a table together.
Details below and we’ll also discuss on Monday night.
Registration deadline is 21st April.
Hello! Don’t forget we’re judging the Open competition. It should be a good meeting with a lot of variety in our photography subjects. I am looking forward to it and hope to see you there!
