The Preston Photographic Club has been in continual operation since 1948 and has a proud history of friendly competition. In honor of the members who were awarded the Aggregate Shield in their respective division, years or year since 1949 are now listed in an honor role on the PPC website as we have retired the shield from presentation and are now awarding individual trophies to the recipients. We are all proud of our clubs history and thank all the recipients listed on the role for the part they played in this clubs history.

Sensitive Santa
For the second year in a row, a couple of members of the club have volunteered with the Span Community House Sensitive Santa program. The Sensitive Santa program offers families with children on the autistic spectrum, the opportunity to meet Santa and have their photo taken in a quiet environment far from the chaos of Christmas time shopping centres. This was my second year volunteering and it was equally rewarding as the first. It’s truly a privilege to be part of the Sensitive Santa experience.
Sensitive Santa happens all over Melbourne and will be happening again next year. If your family or a family you know would enjoy taking part, keep a look out here for locations and dates
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our club year has ended with a great presentation night and I would like to congratulate all who took out honours for 2015.
The PPC Committee will be working hard over the break to get our 2016 program of competitions, workshops and activities into the calendar as soon as possible so you can get organized and start planning.
I will post the program and dates within the next week.
If you are a visitor to this site I would like to invite you to come along in the New Year to our club and bring along a friend or two.
Keep an eye on this site for announcements or why not like our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/PrestonPhotographicClub/?ref=bookmarks
