Points are awarded for each competition entry and any awards received, with totals determining the Aggregate Points Awards for Novice and Standard categories (1st–3rd place).

Individual Photo Awards are selected from Nature, Portrait and Scapes entries, with all awarded images eligible for Image of the Year.

Judges will also select annual winners across Novice and Standard categories, including category bests, Image of the Year, and the President’s Encouragement Award.
